It is a high polygon model of a Star Trek: The Original Series Type II Phaser. It is my entry to this month's 3D World forum's creative challenge, to model (not texture) an iconic prop from a film or TV series.
Here is the wireframe.
I'm hoping to uv map and texture the phaser, and possibly make a low poly model, using this high poly model to create a normal/displacement map in 3ds max.
